    Key Responsibilities (this position may be site-based or project-based):

    • Making sure all site electrical equipment delivers to the highest level of safety and performance
    • Ensuring all electrical project work is performed in a safe and efficient manner across the site/project
    • Ensure reliability and function to meet production demands for all site electrical works
    • Responsible for electrical equipment maintenance strategy
    • Continuously updating and improving strategy and systems to ensure peak performance
    • Assistance with the budgeting process
    • Ensuring work order compliance - complying with all relevant NSW regulations, codes and standards
    • Coordination of electrical contracts and contractors and project management 
       

    To be successful you will need: 

    • Previous extensive experience in underground mining – preferably coal 
    • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or similar
    • Hold a certificate of competency for a NSW Mine Electrical Engineer
    • Must be a team player with the ability to problem solve and time manage
    • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
